HN3808-AB rotary encoder series have two phases A and B and are available in 100, 200, 360, 400 and 600 pulse/round. Currently the Arduino code is in a constant loop and outputs the updated encoder variable if it changes. My console app is also in a while loop along with arduino.isconnected and determines whether to increase or decrease the throttle position.
